Ms. Tally received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2009 and her Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2005.


Ms. Tally is admitted to practice by the North Carolina State Bar, and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute.

Practice Areas

Ms. Tally’s practice areas include general insurance defense, premises liability, construction law, commercial litigation, and appellate practice.


Ms. Tally, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2005 with a double-major in History and Spanish.  While at UVA, she studied abroad in Valencia, Spain; volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem for Piedmont CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates); and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.  Ms. Tally then worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Charleston, South Carolina, before going on to receive her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in 2009.  While in law school, Ms. Tally served as an Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and worked as a law clerk at a multi-specialty business law firm each summer and during the school year.  After graduating from Charleston Law, she moved to Fayetteville and clerked for the Honorable Cheri L. Beasley on the North Carolina Court of Appeals for a year and a half, before joining the firm in 2011.  Additionally, Ms. Tally is active in the local bar, and she is fluent in Spanish.
