Education

Mr. Anderson received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Wake Forest Univeristy School of Law in 1975 and his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University in 1968.

Memberships

Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice by the North Carolina State Bar and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of North Carolina. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute.

Practice Areas

Mr. Anderson's practice areas include general insurance defense, legal malpractice defense, premises liability defense, products liability defense, insurance coverage, and subrogation. He is also a certified Superior Court Mediator.

Biography

Mr. Anderson was born and raised in Fayetteville, N.C. He graduated from the Virgina Episcopal School in 1964, and went on to attend the North Carolina State University where he majored in aerospace egineering. He received his B.S. in 1968 and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Anderson then went on to work as an egineer for the Lockheed Georgia Company before receiving his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1975. While at Wake Forest he was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review, and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Mr. Anderson joined the firm in 1975, and was allowed to serve a year as an Assistant District Attorney for the Twelfth Judicial District. Mr. Anderson has over three decades of trial and appellate experience. He has been "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell for over fifteen years. An "AV" rating is the highest rating an attorney can receive. Mr. Anderson is also a certified Superior Court Mediator.
